What about link building from link farms to your competitors.
We know Google punishes links from link farms. instead of saying i am not adding my link here, you might say &quot;i would link to my competitor from here&quot;.</description>

The point about self inflicted negative SEO is especially interesting as many smaller firms are entering the SEO game with agencies from a blind starting point not knowing what service they are going to recieve (or even what they should be recieving!).

How do we go about educating these smaller businesses with no experience of SEO that the lowest bidder may well harm their rankings/reputation instead of what they where expecting?
